What you’ll learn

How to create an interactive video in Creatium Studio by adding engagement points such as questions, pauses, and activities that transform passive watching into active learning.

Creating your interactive lesson

Step 1: Start a new interactive lesson

1. Go to the Create tab in Creatium Studio and select Interactive Lesson.

2. Choose how you want to begin: prompt with AI, add your own text, upload a slide deck, from a PDF file, or build from scratch. Each approach will convert the materials, either uploaded or generated with AI, into designed slides with narration and provide the ability to add activities into the video.

Step 2: Add your video content (example: prompt with AI)

Describe the topic with a sentence or two

Step 3: Define your lesson topic further

Select your audience type, language, and dictate learning objectives (select “suggest” for AI to develop them for you) and click the “Create editable draft” button.

Step 4: Review your lesson outline

Review the AI-generated outline that will convert into slide content, interactives, and narration. If needed, make edits directly to the cards or refine with instructions in the “Improve” box on the right.

Once reviewed, select the “Create my lesson” button on the right to convert the outline to slides.

Step 5: Edit your slides and video narration

Review slide content, update images by right clicking images to replace images with an uploaded gallery, public images, or AI-generated images or infographics.

Review and edit the narration at the bottom of the slide editing canvas. Expedite your edits with the “Magic Edit” tool on the lefthand toolbar, or by clicking the “Magic Edit” button on any slide element. Provide instructions with your requested change.

Step 6: Add your interactive elements

Navigate to the left panel and select the “Interactives” button.

Select your interactive type:

  1. Knowledge Checks: quizzes, drag and drop, and more.

  2. Simulations: custom simulations, games or immersive assessments.

  3. Coach: add AI Coaches to your video.

  4. Roleplay: create roleplays with AI characters.

  5. Embeds: add published videos as files or YouTube links, PDFs, excel sheets, or website URLs.

Select an existing interactive or select the “Create new” button to make a new interactive.
